What are seeds?

MATERIALS NEEDED

Clear plastic cups, Large seeds (goods ones include: Pumpkin, Sunflower, Bean, Pea and Corn), Corresponding signs for chosen seeds with recognizable picture and written word for seed (e.g., a pumpkin, sunflower, bean plant, pea plant, corn cob)

PROCEDURE

Introduction
Give a handful of mixed seeds to each student. Ask them if they recognize any of the seeds in front of them. What are on the pictures of each cup?
Activity
Have students sort the seeds into each cup.
Wrap up/Assessment
Observe seeds in each cup. Do they all match?
